Our mission is to raise awareness of the benefits of the Hope Mills Area Chamber of Commerce, the retention of existing Chamber Members, enlistment of new members, and goodwill representatives of the Chamber at a variety of functions. This energetic group of people helps maintain contact with other Chamber members while promoting the Chamber of Commerce and its purpose.
❖ To Actively promote membership for the Hope Mills Chamber of Commerce.
❖ Network among members and potential members.
❖ Encourage participation and involvement in the Chamber programs to enhance the membership benefits of each member.
❖ Contact members as necessary to inform them about upcoming events.
❖ Assist with member commitment, and increase long term membership.
❖ Chamber Member in good standing.
❖ High-energy, outgoing and dynamic business men and women.
❖ Exhibit positive behavior on all social media platforms and in community. Represent Chamber in a positive matter at all times.
❖ The Ambassadors are a highly visible influential group of volunteers who give their time to provide a crucial link between the Chamber, its members and the community.
❖ Our Ambassadors are passionate about the Chamber and their involvement not only benefits our organization, but their participation within the committee helps their own business exposure increase as well.
❖ Ambassadors are an essential front line representative of the Chamber of Commerce at public and Chamber sponsored events and help to ensure that all members receive the maximum benefit from their Chamber experience.
❖ To call, visit and/or act as hosts to members and to facilitate networking with these members on a monthly basis.
❖ To provide a reliable customer service base to help members with questions or concerns.
❖ To educate and inform members on Chamber initiatives, programs and services.
❖ To assist with getting members engaged in chamber programs and events.
❖ To assist with membership retention.
❖ Assist Board members with issues affecting members, and offer guidance or suggestions to optimize member experience.
❖ Networking opportunities to establish and maintain valuable business contacts
❖ Recognition as an engaged community leader, individually and for the business/organization you represent
❖ Recognition at events and Chamber social media
❖ Ambassador of the Year recognition opportunity

❖ Attend monthly meetings and may not have more than two (2) unexcused absences throughout the year (must notify Administrative Assistant or President within 24 hours of meeting if unable to attend)
❖ Attend at least three (3) Ribbon Cuttings per year and two (2) major events per year.
❖ Volunteer four (4) hours per year at any Chamber event.
❖ Select five (5) members from Chamber membership roster to communicate with throughout year via calls, email, visit and/or interaction at networking events.
❖ Solicit members for participation in events such as Chili Cookoff, Heroes Homecoming, Golf Tournament.
